The 8 inch ICF panel wall and the footing were in place. The footing for the new section of the wall -- a 4 inch ICF panel wall had been poured but the wall was to be built later.
The 4 inch panel wall in this case had light vertical loading and a little lateral load from backfill ranging from a maximum of 42 inches at one end down to nothing at the other end.
The outer faces of both walls were in line. I specified doweling the new 4 inch panel wall to the existing footing as well as to the existing 8 inch panel wall.
