Work on footings for addition to Rosie O'Grady's Restaurant & Pub on 23 Mile Road in Chesterfield Twp Michigan has begun. In my last post I showed you some pictures of the Rosie-O-Gradys-In-Chesterfield-Twp-Michigan_Site-Civil-Work-For-Building-Addition

I present here some pictures of the excavation for isolated column footings and trench footings for the walls for the addition to the North side of the existing building. In-situ tests using the Housel method were made to confirm that footings were placed on competent soil with allowable bearing of at least 2000 psf.

We are on our way now -- I will keep you posted with progress pictures as we go along.
