Rosie O'Grady's Restaurant & Pub on 23 Mile Road in Chesterfield Twp Michigan is a beautiful place. The upscale facility is going to be enlarged, it is going get a face-lift and is also getting some modification in the interior.
The addition is energy-efficient insulating concrete form (ICF) construction -- it is going to be Green -- of course it is going to be Green, after all it is an irish pub ... just kidding.
Harlow and Sons, and Reddi Wall are the contractors for this energy efficient building using ICF walls in the addition.
Subsequent to the completion of the Zoning Board and the Planning Commission Reviews, modification work was to start on Mar-18-2008 right after St Patrick's Day. However, after some initial start-up hickups, site-civil work has begun.
I present here some pictures of the site-civil work in progress. I will post details of work on footings for the building addition work -- I will keep you posted with progress pictures as we go along.
