We started the writeup of this ICF house on Aug-12-2006. Our last update for basement-prep_for-Stehr-House-in-Highland-Twp-Michigan was on Sep-05-2006.

We are using a monolithic slab for our foundation. We are using the trench footings at the door openings in the walkout. We insulated the exterior side of the trench with 2" thick styrofoam and we filled the trench with stone upto the bottom of the slab.
