The roof sheeting and shingles work on the Stehr House in Highland Township Michigan was completed on Dec-08-2006.

Dan Schmitt and Scott Pickerd of Reddi-Set-Home started the closed cell polyurethane spray insulation under the roof sheets today. We needed the surface temperature at the application point to be over 40 degrees Fahrenheit. The relatively warmer weather over the last couple of days helped up pull this through today.

We planned on spraying nominally 2.5" of polyurethane overall except for 5" in the exposed Gable area between the House and Garage, and the vaulted ceiling area in front of the house.

Today's pictures didn't come out so good -- I took them late in the afternoon, it was generally hazy, and most of the pictures are inside where it was not very bright.

It has been a long day for Dan and Scott. When I left the job site at about 7:45 this evening they had at least one more hour's worth of work ahead of them to complete the spray job.
