We started the writeup of this ICF house on Aug-12-2006. Our last update for construction-road_for-Stehr-House-in-Highland-Twp-Michigan was on Sep-01-2006. In this update we will look at the basement prep for the house.

The area for the access road had been cleared of the trees and the shrubs and was made ready to receive the crushed concrete base for stability. we do have a good stable construction road. We can now focus on preparing the basement for the house. In the following I have a few picture slides of visual survey of the site, trees, roots, and brush cleared off the house site, and the beginning of the staking operation for the basement.


Here is a shot of the hill in the back - the front has been mowed down for the basement. Notice a stake painted with red color -- ya it is the beginning ... Picture 1
