Our last update on backfill-against-basement-walls was on Dec-06-2006.
The backfill work is progressing well. Today Dan and Charlie completed the backfill against the East wall -- just some finishing touch is needed to make sure that backfill is to the right height consistent with the final Finished Grade. There will be more excavation work East of the house for the Septic Tanl and the Septic Field.
Dan and Charlie also covered the trench where the water line was laid from the house to the well after Chris Olevich from B & B Well Drilling had completed the hookup to the Well.
In some of the pictures I took, you will see the trees in the area around the Well are being removed. Dan took out two large trees today -- these will be cut and hauled away by our neighborhood Tree Farm guys.
