Remodeling-Whole-House-In-Southeastern-Michigan

The owners bought this little house, and decided to remodel it -- expand it and upgrade it -- to suit thir taste, even before moving in.

It is an older frame house with a poured concrete wall basement. I am working with Rich Napier, the builder, on structural design issues.

This has been a challenging project for Rich -- and of course a remodeling job always has challenges, and it always demands the best of you.

Let me show you some pictures of the framing issues, as Rich goes for the rough framing approval before insulation and drywalling can begin.
