In my post Modifying-Existing-Trusses-to-Carve-Out-a-Room-in-the-Garage-Attic I had discussed the strategy for structural modification of the trusses to carve out a room in the Garage attic.

In my last post on this project, I had also shown the pictures of the existing house to show how the house is laid out.

Here I present some design sketches/drawings. As you can see all the work is to be done from within the attic -- some members of the existing roof trusses have to be cut out to make for the new room and the existing roof will be piggy-backed on the flat portion of the carved out bonus room.

The pictures show the structural details and the areas of the house to be worked on.
