This is a large industrial Metal building with large spans and a tall ceiling. The building was originally owned by a manufacturing facility which now has operations across the street to the East of this building.

The building used to have a rail-road siding on the North side -- the rail road tracks have now been covered up. The facility owner called me to look at the North side wall which is metal sided with exposed insulation on the inside face.

The manager showed me in and I conducted a walk-down inspection of the North side building wall. The manager told me that the intent is to construct a block masonry wall inside the building in front of the existing metal sided wall because the metal sided wall with exposed insulation does not present an aesthethetically appealing look.

I did discuss with the manager and the owner that there are other alternates to constructing a block masonry wall. It will be a good idea to look into other alternates that would be cost-effective, would meet the objective, and perhaps not even take up the real-estate that a block wall construction would take.

I am going to show some pictures of the North side wall from inside the building. This is a large building in an Industrial area -- in another post I will show you the pictures of the building from the outside.
