Ned Impastato of Tailor Made Tile Company is the contractor for this condo renovation work project.

Part of the renovation work consisted of implementing an inverted pan effect in the Master BedRoom ceiling.

Implementation of the desired effect for the ceiling configuration, nine trusses had to be cut.

The Building Official has asked that the cut trusses and the attendant modification work be reviewed by a registered professional to document that the structural integrity of the cut trusses has not been advesely affected and the modified configuration will be able to carry all the intended dead and live loads safely and securely.

I have posted here a few pictures showing the cut trusses. In the next post, I will post more about my findings and my recommended fixes that need to be implemented.
