It was a big day today -- concrete pour for the footings for this new facility. Partners Marler Harlow and Michael Deck have been working hard at getting the plans approved, getting all the permits, arranging financing and so on.
Finally, the building permit and state approvals have been procured, and the construction has begun.
The owners have plans to have the facility open for business in January 2008. It will require good planning, concerted effort, and no hangups to pull it through. Yes it can be done, but let us see how things go.
Harlow and Sons are the contractors for this energy efficient building using ICF walls in basement.
I present here some pictures that I took today at the site. I will keep you posted with progress pictures as we go along.
