We talked about the Footing-for-New-Face-Brick-Ramez-Rasho-and-Senan-Sesi-Party-Store-on-Wick-Road-in-Taylor-Michigan in my post of post of Jan-31-2007.that the store will get a new brick facade on a new trench footing.

It has been cold here in Southeastern Michigan from a low of 0 degrees Fahrenheit to a high of 14 degrees or so for the last few days. The concrete placed for the footing for the new face brick was protected with a thick cover of straw to protect it from freezing. Dave, the brick layer is all ready to get going. He is just waiting for a little break from the extremely cold weather.

The brick layer has started setting up the scaffolding. He has got all the materials and the equipment lined up and he is all set to get going. Most of the Interior-Work is nearly complete. So the renovate user-friendly store will open as soon as the new face brick work is completed.

Here are some pictures showing Dave, the brick layer and his wares -- hopefully, we will be able to see Dave's completed brickwork in the next few days.
