This energy efficient efficient healthy house has ICF walls for the basement and upper level. Part of the basement is a walk-out. The structural layout of the house is mostly column free ... there are only two columns in the basement.

The ICF walls use Reddi-Wall ICF blocks -- the walls are reinforced to support the vertical loads as well as lateral pressure from backfill. The walls use strip footings formed with Form-A-Drain on each side that take care of the drainage as well as the radon issues.

I have presented here some pictures of the ICF walls in the basement ... I will keep you posted with more progress pictures of the structure for this house.
